I prepped for it last night, which I knew I would do the moment I saw it on the calendar. Quarterly account summary, three items that needed his awareness, two decisions I wanted documented before they got attributed to nobody in particular. Forty minutes of prep for a thirty-minute meeting. The ratio is about right.

It went fine. Better than fine. The accounts are in good shape. I had the numbers. He asked two follow-up questions, both reasonable, and I had answers for both. The meeting ended two minutes early. He said something about a strong Q3 setup. I said thanks. The screen went dark.
